Söstter is a curated international marketplace for independent makers, designers and bricks-and-mortar boutiques, covering fashion, home, jewellery, beauty and lifestyle.

Which is a rather grand way of saying: we have gathered together a great many people who make things properly, and put them somewhere you can find them. Hand-thrown ceramics. Cloth cut by someone who knew what they were doing. Objects that have been decorated for no reason beyond the pleasure of it, and paper illustrated by an actual human with actual opinions. None of it came off a production line, and it rather shows.

The makers here are still playing with their materials, which is the bit that mass production never quite manages. Have a browse.
