Right, so here's the thing about these bowls. They're made from proper natural sisal fibres, dyed and then woven by hand around a core of forest grasses in a process that's frankly quite marvellous to think about. Each one starts from the middle and spirals outward, which sounds simple until you realise someone had to sit there doing it with tremendous care and patience. The creamy white colour is entirely natural, which is the sort of detail that makes you feel rather pleased with yourself when guests ask about it.
