Right then. If you've ever stood on a railway platform and wondered what goes on inside those rather marvellous brick boxes that control the trains, well, here's your chance to find out. This is a beautifully detailed model of the signal box that once stood at Bedale Station on the Wensleydale Railway in Yorkshire. It's the sort of thing that makes proper train spotters go all misty-eyed.
We've included a rather fetching interior complete with desk, lock box, and lever frame. Because if you're going to do something, you might as well do it properly, even if nobody's strictly going to see inside.
