Our Cotton Long Futon Zabuton Floor Mattress are specifically designed for comfort and support during Yoga, Pilates, or Meditation.
When you require comfort for long periods of time, the Long Futon Zabuton Mat is the tried and tested solution.
Whether it's Static Yoga Poses, Pranayama or Meditation, staying in poses for long periods of time can be difficult and uncomfortable, that's why we recommend a Long Futon Zabuton.
Futons are traditionally Japanese bed mattresses. Usually, thick futons are for sleeping on and thin futons are for yoga, meditation, massage or exercise.
Practices that benefit from a Futon Zabuton would be those that are centred more around static poses, meditation and seated exercises. Perfect for Yoga Asanas, headstands, shoulder stands or clown poses.
Perfect for Yoga Nidra, or "Yogic Sleep" which is the modern form of the technique (pioneered by Dennis Boyes in 1973). Any practices or techniques that require sitting or lying down for extended amounts of time, would benefit greatly from a long Futon Zabuton.
