A Rather Splendid Bit of Handmade Glass for Your Drinks

Look, we'll be honest. These coasters are far too nice to hide away in a cupboard. Each one is handcrafted in our Cornish workshop using a fiddly process that involves hand-cutting coloured glass squares, arranging them into a rather fetching chequered pattern, then fusing the whole lot together at 800 degrees. It's the sort of thing that sounds easy until you actually try it.

Beautifully Handmade: Created one at a time in our workshop, each coaster is genuinely unique. No two are quite identical, which is either marvellous or slightly annoying, depending on how you look at it.

Product Details

Dimensions: 100mm by 100mm, standing 6mm thick. A perfectly sensible size for almost any mug or glass.

Weight: 175 grams. Substantial enough to feel rather good in your hand.

Pattern: 20mm glass squares arranged in a chequered design. Hand-cut, which explains why they're slightly more interesting than machine-made versions.

Care: Handwash only, please. Keep away from ovens and microwaves, which they'll tolerate about as well as Hugh Grant tolerates small talk.
