Rather good news if you're the sort of person who enjoys a spot of meticulous model building. This is a splendid British Railways 12 Ton Box Van kit that lets you create something quite the showstopper for your collection. It's the sort of project that makes you feel properly accomplished once you've finished, even if the instructions do occasionally make you squint at them twice.

Historically Accurate Detail: This kit captures the authentic design of the classic BR box van, complete with vertical wooden boarding, pressed steel end walls, and sliding doors on both sides. It's the real deal, not some vaguely wagon-shaped lump.
Kinematic Coupling Mechanisms: Equipped with NEM pocket compatible couplings so your wagon plays nicely with other models in your collection. Marvellous engineering, really.
Flexible Scale Options: Works beautifully in both OO and HO gauge, so whether you're British or prefer continental standards, we've got you covered.
Era Versatility: Suitable for UK Eras 4 through 11, meaning it fits both operating services and preservation-era layouts. Fabulously adaptable.
Product Details
What's Included: Unassembled, unpainted 3D printed resin components that are ready for your creative touch. Yes, there is a small amount of sanding and filling involved, but that's rather part of the charm.
Assembly Requirements: You'll need OO or HO gauge axles, NEM pocket compatible couplings, extension springs measuring 1.5mm diameter by 8mm long made from 0.2mm diameter wire, and six M1.4 by 3mm screws. We've thoughtfully included clearances throughout to aid assembly.
Wheel Set Options: For OO gauge, use Hornby R8100 or equivalent 13mm diameter wheels. For HO gauge, any NEM RP25 11mm diameter wheels will do nicely.
Finishing: Supply your own acrylic or enamel paints to create something utterly fetching. The resin takes paint beautifully once you've given it a light preparation.
Dispatch: Your kit will be carefully prepared and posted within 7 working days via Royal Mail, whether you're in the UK or abroad.
Assembly Advice: Do have a thorough read of the instructions and perform a dry assembly before committing anything to glue. Dry runs prevent costly mistakes and are rather recommended.
Age Recommendation: Suitable for adult collectors ages 14 and above. Small parts present a choking hazard. This is absolutely not a toy.
