Before I approve any of my paintings for a new print run, I work closely with my printers to create a single, perfect test print. This is the first one made—the one I personally inspect in my Gourock studio for colour accuracy and quality against my original painting.
By tradition, this unique piece is called the Artist's Proof (A/P). It’s my final seal of approval. For each of my paintings, only one of these will ever exist, making it a truly special collector's item for those who want the most exclusive version of my work available.

A True 1 of 1 Original: This is the only Artist's Proof for this painting. Once it's sold, no others will ever be created, making it the rarest version of this artwork.
Hand-Signed and Certified: I personally sign, title, and date the print by hand. I also mark it with 'A/P' to certify its unique status as the official Artist's Proof.
Museum-Grade Hahnemühle Paper: I have selected Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm), a world-renowned, heavyweight fine art paper from Germany. Its distinct, velvety texture is perfect for capturing the depth and colour of my original work, creating a stunning, archival-quality giclée reproduction.
Archival Giclée Print: This proof is created using the sophisticated giclée printing process with archival pigment inks, guaranteeing that the colours will remain vibrant and true for a lifetime without fading.
