Wild Clouds was founded in 2021 by Franny, a Londoner with 15 years of retail supply chain experience who had grown disenchanted with an industry she knew too well. She had changed her own buying habits, was looking for clothing that was genuinely sustainable and genuinely well designed in unusual prints — and could not find it. So she made it herself. Her manufacturer, Tatiana at Phosphenes of London, was a ten-minute bike ride away. Wild Clouds was born.

Four years later it is a certified B-Corp with a verified impact score of 113.5 — more than double the median score of 50.9 for ordinary businesses. That number reflects the reality of how Wild Clouds operates: genderless, seasonless clothing made in south London and India in small batches from a signature fabric of 76% organic cotton and 24% linen that is GOTS certified, OEKO-TEX certified, OCS certified, and 100% plastic free — right down to the buttons and elastics. Prints are whimsical, mythology and nature-inspired, and designed to be worn as pyjamas, as workwear, and everywhere in between. Every garment comes with a two-year free repair promise. When clothes are genuinely beyond repair, Wild Clouds will reclaim them. The fabric is fully compostable. The brand has committed to net zero by 2030 as a member of the SME Climate Hub and the UN Race to Zero. This is what actually doing it looks like.
