A friendship, a shared idea, and a rather good excuse to find the extraordinary.
Sostter didn’t appear out of thin air. It began, as many good things do, with two friends, a long history, and an enduring conversation about the state of the world’s shop windows. Between us, we’d seen our fair share of high streets and trade shows. We’d noticed that the most interesting brands — the ones with charm, wit, and a genuine point of view — often found themselves hidden in plain sight, tucked away from the mainstream.
So, over far too many coffees (and a few glasses of something stronger), we decided to do something about it. The plan was deceptively simple: create a home for the kind of independent brands that don’t follow trends but quietly, cleverly, and sometimes cheekily, set them.
We launched Sostter as a curated marketplace for those who appreciate a well-made thing. Our platform is part treasure trove, part members’ club for the aesthetically curious. We seek out independent designers, avant-garde artisans, and makers who put as much heart into their work as they do skill. We’ve no time for mass production or disposable culture — life’s too short for bad knitwear or forgettable table lamps.
What you’ll find here is a considered edit of products from visionary brands across the globe: one-of-a-kind pieces, small-batch craftsmanship, and that elusive quality we call effortless cool. The sort of things that make you stop mid-scroll and think, Yes, that’s it.
We like to think of Sostter as our love letter to creativity — a space where good design meets good company. And while money can’t buy taste, happily, it can buy the kind of pieces you’ll discover here.
Welcome to Sostter. We hope you find something extraordinary.
