A classic yellow rose…caught in the rain. I used many layers of alcohol, dye, and water to create the visual texture on this painting.
Image size is 14” x 15”. 100% silk habotai (china silk). Silk dyes are permanent. However, it is not recommended to hang this in direct sunlight. Please choose your frame color at check out. Grey, Wood, or Black. Another option is to have this mounted on a white canvas which would show a white border approx 2” around the image. Canvas frame 1.5” thick. This option allows for hanging outside (ideally under cover) as the artwork will be impervious to the elements once it is coated in acrylic medium.
