Right. So B Corp is the gold standard for businesses that have decided to be measured on more than profit — independently verified by B Lab against rigorous global criteria covering governance, workers, community, environment, and customer impact. Of the roughly 9,500 B Corps worldwide (across some 102 countries and 160 industries), only a tiny fraction are British independent makers — and Söstter currently stocks five of them. To earn the certification, a company must score 80+ on the B Impact Assessment (the median ordinary company scores about 50), formally bake their commitments into their governing documents, and recertify every three years. It's the sort of thing you can't buy or fake; you either run the business in a way that holds up to the audit, or you don't.
