GoGoNano is an Estonian nanotechnology brand founded in 2013 by Kaur Reinjärv and run, rather charmingly, out of a small town called Kehra — which, the team will admit, is not where most people picture cutting-edge surface science happening. The proposition is the slightly heroic one: invisible, biodegradable, water-based coatings that protect the things you already own — phones, sofas, trainers, the car, that leather jacket you keep meaning to waterproof — from the various small disasters of daily life. The working philosophy is the only properly sensible response to throwaway culture: don't replace it, just stop ruining it.

The hero products cover the obvious offenders. Liquid Shield bonds invisibly to phone, tablet, and smartwatch screens (scratches, fingerprints, the occasional dropped pint — handled). Liquid Skin does the same for car paint, glass, and wheels. Stay Dry and EcoProtect waterproof textiles and leather without changing how they feel. The Home range replaces a small army of household chemicals with biodegradable alternatives. All formulas are non-toxic, water-based, family-safe, and last months per application.
