Simon James Home is Simon — the person who pours the candles, answers the messages, shows up at the John Lewis Bluewater pop-up to meet customers in person, and has built a brand around a very straightforward conviction: that a luxury candle should smell genuinely exceptional, be made properly, and cost the planet as little as possible in the process. The brand has won Best Luxury Home Fragrance Brand in the UK 2026, Best Luxury Candles in the UK, Best UK Candle Brand and Home Fragrance Brand of the Year — four recognitions that have accumulated because the product keeps earning them rather than because they were pursued. Every candle is hand-poured in Simon's Kent studio in small batches using vegan soy wax and paraben-free premium fragrance oils. Packaging is entirely plastic-free and recyclable. A tree is planted with every order.

The scent range is the brand's greatest achievement. Le Croissant and Maple & Pecan Danish bring the warm, buttery pleasure of a good bakery into a living room without a single note of artificiality.
