Look, we'll be honest with you. Most houseplants seem designed to make you feel inadequate. Not this one. The moth orchid is rather good at forgiving the occasional oversight, which is to say it's marvellous for those of us who occasionally forget which day it is. Native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, the Philippines and Australia, this splendid specimen has somehow agreed to live indoors with you despite having impeccable taste in habitat.

Flowers That Actually Stick Around: Enjoy up to three months of gorgeous blooms. Yes, really. This one produces multiple flower branches per year, so you get repeated glory without having to replace the whole plant.
Utterly Fetching White Blooms: Two delicate flower branches deliver proper handsomeness to any room. The elegant white flowers are precisely the sort of thing that makes visitors ask if you're secretly a botanist.
Properly Easy to Care For: The moth orchid is one of the least demanding orchids around. It's rather forgiving of the occasional watering mishap and doesn't demand you completely rearrange your home to keep it happy.
Product Details
Size Upon Arrival: 50 to 60cm in height, measured including the nursery pot. Arrives in a 12cm diameter pot.
Temperature Preferences: Happiest between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius during the day, with a minimum night temperature of 16 degrees Celsius.
Light Requirements: Prefers bright, indirect light. Keep it out of direct summer sun (yellow leaves are rather telling signs of too much enthusiasm on that front) but do ensure adequate light (dark green leaves mean it's feeling a bit neglected).
Watering: Pour water around the soil rather than into the centre of the plant. Better still, submerge the entire pot in a bucket of water for one minute, then let it rest for seven days. Use orchid-specific potting soil for best results.
This is the houseplant for people who've been burned before. Give it a proper home and it will reward you with months of rather glorious flowers.
