Clean Formula Philosophy: Dispersing zinc oxide into a formula requires all manner of chemicals and emulsifiers, which frankly seems rather counterproductive when you're trying to protect yourself naturally. Instead, you simply shake the bottle before each use and disperse it yourself. Rather ingenious, if we do say so.

Why No SPF Number: SPF testing requires zinc oxide to be pre dispersed using emulsifiers and chemicals. We'd rather you shake the bottle yourself and avoid that entirely. Call it stubborn. We call it honest.
