Rather Splendid Teal Suede Loafers That Actually Work
Look, we'll be honest. We weren't entirely sure about teal suede penny loafers until we tried these on. Turns out they're rather marvellous. These beautifully crafted driving loafers have all the classic charm you'd expect from a proper penny loafer, except with a full rubber sole that means you can actually wear them places without immediately looking like you've given up on life.
The Italian suede upper is genuinely gorgeous, lined with soft leather that feels rather nice against your foot. It's the sort of shoe that makes you think someone, somewhere, knew what they were doing.

Italian Suede Upper: Because your feet deserve to feel like they're on holiday, even if you're just nipping to the supermarket.
Full Rubber Sole: The rather clever bit. Gives that classic loafer silhouette a properly practical edge. Fair warning though, do size down one full size in this style, or you'll be shuffling about like a rather undignified penguin.
Soft Leather Lining: Hand stitched throughout, because cutting corners is for people with less interesting shoe collections than you.
Lightly Padded Insole: Your day job just got more comfortable.

Construction: Traditional hand stitching, made in Portugal by people who appear to take their work rather seriously.
Materials: Italian suede exterior, natural tan leather lining, full rubber sole.
Fit Note: Size down one full size in the rubber sole style. We know that's annoying, but it genuinely works better that way.
These are the sort of shoes that tend to get rather noticed once you have them. Rather good investment, really.
