A Rather Splendid Piece of History, Hanging Quite Brilliantly in Your Home

We've done something rather marvellous here. We've taken 300-year-old reclaimed oak from a Central European barn, the sort of wood that's seen rather more history than most of us ever will, and wrapped it in Italian fabric-covered cable to create a chandelier that's properly handsome and utterly fetching. No drilling, no damage, no faffing about with the timber. Just gorgeous curves and that original hand-forged nail telling its own rather wonderful story.

Each fixture is handcrafted in our Devon studio and made to measure for your specific space. Think of it as a bespoke lighting solution that arrives knowing exactly where it's meant to go.

Product Details

Timber Specifications: Ancient oak beam, approximately 15 centimetres by 9 centimetres by 90 to 100 centimetres. Irregular shape with natural bends, curves, and notches.

What's Included in the Price: Up to 50 centimetres of chain from the top of the timber to your ceiling, and up to 50 centimetres of cable drop below the fixture. Your designer will calculate the exact maximum drop based on ceiling height, timber depth, cable length, and your choice of bulb.

Custom Length Options: Need a longer drop? Additional chain costs approximately 15 pounds per metre, and cable approximately 6 pounds per metre. Get in touch for a custom quote.

About Bulbs: Bulbs are not included as they vary depending on size, shape, and colour preference. We're happy to test different options in your finished fixture and send photos before you make your final decision.

How It Works: This is a made-to-measure service. Once you place your order, we'll contact you to finalise cable colours, component style, and technical specifications. You can track your order progress through our client area, and we'll provide a scale plan for your approval before wiring begins.

Installation: We provide guidance on installation and can point you toward local trades in the Torbay area who can help. We also offer a how-to video showing what arrives and how to get it hung properly.

Important Notes: Indoor use only. UK and Europe fixtures come with 240V ES lamp holders and earthed components due to metal lamp holders. Not suitable for exterior use. Customers in North America should review specific guidance regarding electrical specifications before ordering.
