Care Instructions: Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth only. The open-cell construction works by drawing moisture into its pores, which is precisely where the grip comes from. Soaking or aggressive washing will eventually clog those pores and diminish performance. If you feel inclined toward deeper cleaning, use a dedicated open-cell mat cleanser. Note that natural oils, makeup, and dirt may show on the surface over time, which is rather part of the charm of an honest, hardworking mat.
This is the mat for anyone serious about their practice, rather tired of slipping about, and keen to invest in something that actually performs when things get properly heated. Quite the showstopper, we reckon.
