A Rather Splendid Hat That Actually Keeps Your Head Warm
Look, we won't pretend we invented the cable knit hat. But we did rather obsess over getting this one right. The Abbey is hand-knitted from 100 percent merino wool, which means it's absurdly soft against your skin and genuinely warm without that itchy business you get from lesser wool. The intricate cable design is there not just to look fabulous, but to trap warmth in the most civilised way possible. Named after London's Abbey Road, it's our small nod to something rather iconic.

Merino Wool Magic: This isn't your grandmother's scratchy wool. Merino is breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally antimicrobial, meaning you can actually wear it without feeling damp or worrying about odours. Temperature regulates itself too, which is rather clever.
Hand-Linked Craftsmanship: Every single hat is hand-knitted and linked by us in our UK workshop. No machines doing the thinking here. Just proper, careful work.

A Note on Abbey Road
The name references London's most famous street, home to Abbey Road Studios where rather a lot of important music happened. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and countless others recorded there. That crosswalk you've probably seen in photographs. We thought it deserved a hat.
This is the sort of thing people actually keep. The sort of hat you reach for when you want to look like you've got your life together, and happen to want your head to be warm and comfortable whilst doing it. Rather good value for something made so carefully, if we do say so ourselves.
