The Signal Box You've Always Wanted (But Didn't Know You Could Build)
Right, so here's the thing. This is rather a splendid little signal box, based on the larger of two that once stood at Spondon Junction. The Midland Railway built it, and it's the sort of structure that makes model railway layouts go from pleasant to properly magnificent. We've designed this as the extended version, which means it's ideal for substantial junctions or station entrances where you want something that actually commands attention.

Gorgeously Detailed Interior: Comes with interior accessories so you can decorate the inside. It's the sort of thing that separates the casual enthusiast from the genuinely committed, if we're being honest.
Brick Foundation and All-Round Windows: Features a brick foundation with windows on all sides. It's rather fetching, actually, and the attention to detail is marvellous.
LED-Ready Design: Space for LED lighting has been thoughtfully included, so you can make the whole thing glow rather beautifully when the mood takes you.
Era 2 Through 11 Compatible: Works with UK model railway eras 2 through 11, so it fits rather nicely into most layouts.
Customisable Finish: Supplied as an unpainted 3D printed resin piece, ready for acrylic or enamel paints. You get to make it entirely your own, which is rather marvellous.
Product Details
What's Included: One unassembled, unpainted signal box model in resin. Windows require careful cutting from a separate transparent sheet (yes, there is a touch of effort involved, but that's part of the charm).
Assembly: Clearances have been included to aid assembly. Do read through the instructions and perform a dry assembly before gluing. We rather recommend this approach.
Preparation: May require some sanding and filling before painting. Think of it as giving the model a bit of polish before it becomes the showstopper it was meant to be.
Scale: TT 120 and 3mm scale.
Dispatch: Building orders are dispatched within 7 working days via Royal Mail to UK and overseas addresses.
Note: Detail may vary slightly from photographs depending on the size of building ordered. Rather like people, really, no two are exactly identical.
