Right, so here's the thing about this rather marvellous 12 Ton Box Van kit: it's a proper bit of railway history you assemble yourself. Rather like flat-pack furniture, except considerably more impressive and actually rather good once you're done with it.

Beautifully Crafted for Collectors: This is fabulously made from resin and supplied unpainted so you can customise it to your exacting standards. Perfect for eras 4 through 11, whether your railway operates in the present day or lives contentedly in preservation.
Kinematic Coupling Technology: Includes proper NEM pocket compatibility (TT120 version), meaning your wagon will couple and uncouple like the genuinely functional thing it is.
Generous Assembly Support: Clearances are thoughtfully included throughout to make assembly rather less of a headache than one might fear.
Product Details
Scale and Gauge Options: Available in both TT120 and 3mm gauge. The TT120 version includes kinematic couplings and NEM pockets, whilst the 3mm version keeps things pleasingly straightforward.
What You'll Need to Complete: Two gauge-appropriate axles, two NEM-compatible couplings, extension springs measuring 1.5mm diameter by 8mm long made from 0.2mm wire, and six M1.4 by 3mm screws. Rather like a proper puzzle, but infinitely more rewarding.
Compatible Wheels: For TT120, pair with 8mm diameter wheels. For 3mm gauge, you'll want 3mm Society wheels paired with appropriate bearings.
Finish Options: Your kit arrives as unassembled, unpainted resin. Sand and fill as needed, then apply acrylic or enamel paints to achieve precisely the look you're after.
Dispatch: Custom built to order within 7 working days and sent via Royal Mail to anywhere in the UK or abroad.
Age Notice: This is unquestionably not a toy. Suitable for adult collectors and enthusiasts aged 14 and above due to small components.
