12 Ton Box Van Model Railway Wagon Kit TT Gauge 3mm Scale
A Rather Marvellous DIY Railway Wagon That Won't Embarrass You in Front of Proper Enthusiasts
Right, let's be honest. You've got excellent taste in miniature railways, even if assembling them feels rather like attempting to build furniture from that Swedish place without the instructions. This splendid 12 ton box van kit is based on genuine LMS design and arrives beautifully crafted and ready for your artistic touch. We've included kinematic coupling mechanisms and NEM pockets to make you feel terrifically competent, even when you're not entirely sure which end is up.
Why Choose Our Box Van Kit
Gloriously Authentic Detail: This isn't some hastily cobbled-together replica. You're getting period-correct fitted brakes, clasp brakes on all wheels, proper plywood boarding with side bracing, and sliding doors on both sides. Rather good, that.
Works Across Multiple Eras: Whether you're recreating UK railways from eras 4 through 11, this wagon fits right in. Preservation era, operational era, you name it.
Beautifully Made for Customisation: It arrives unpainted and unassembled, which means you get to splash on the colours and really make it your own. Some light sanding and filling might be needed, but nothing that'll have you reaching for the gin.
Thoughtfully Designed Assembly: We've included generous clearances throughout to aid assembly, because let's face it, we're all a bit bumbling sometimes.

We Have Lots More Like This.........
Hello, we are Sostter....
Sostter began, as all good ideas do, with a lively conversation and a shared sense of frustration. Why had the world of independent design become so serious, so samey, so… beige? Where was the spark, the imagination, the sheer joy of discovering something that made you stop and stare?
We dreamt of a marketplace that celebrated difference — where curious minds could explore a world of independent brands, design-led makers, and thoughtful artisans. A space that felt exciting, human, and beautifully imperfect.
Today, Sostter brings together remarkable people and their creations — from London to Lausanne, Brooklyn to Berlin — uniting makers and discoverers through craftsmanship, creativity, and conscience. Every object tells a story, and every purchase supports an independent brand doing things differently.
This is just the beginning. But enough about us — step inside, explore our world, and see what catches your imagination.
Giving Back
We’re proud to support Sutton Night Watch, a grassroots UK charity making a real difference in the lives of those facing homelessness. Through regular donations of stock, supplies, and essentials, we back their mission to offer warmth, dignity, and practical help to anyone in need — right where it matters most.
